Cowley is a special place. Every year, we welcome students into the Sixth Form from many schools across St Helens and further afield. We pride ourselves on the support offered to every individual that joins Cowley and truly believe that every one of our students has an amazing potential to succeed.
Cowley is a larger than average Sixth Form which means we offer a wide portfolio of courses to our students. This ranges from traditional A-levels to vocational qualifications and career-based courses. Whatever your decision, you can guarantee that you will be taught by experts in the subject who are willing to go that extra mile to ensure that you achieve your true potential.

Politics student Jacob featured on the programme to discuss the Labour Party leadership.
Speaking about his experience on the programme, Jacob said: "Opportunities like this don't come around too often so it was really good to do.
"I think the A-Level Politics course has helped my political understanding so that I could link what was being discussed with what I’ve learned on the course.”

From the classroom to training alongside the pros 🏉🔥
Y12 student, Cavell, made the move from St Mary's Catholic High School in Astley to Cowley Sixth Form College to continue his studies and be closer to training with the Academy at St Helens RFC.
The partnership between Cowley Sixth Form College and Saints gives students a unique opportunity to develop both academically and athletically, with the Saints training facility based on our site 💪📚 We have a number of students who are part of the Scholarship and Academy set up at Saints.
Cavell is enjoying an excellent season on the wing for the Saints Academy side, scoring 8 tries in just 5 appearances so far 👏
Even more impressively, he has already trained with the Saints first team this year as he continues to progress in the game.
